Hello, my name is Arica. Growing up I was an active child that participated in as many sports as my parents would allow. After my completion of high school I realized soccer was my true passion. I started my soccer career at Tacoma Community College where I also received my AA degree.
Continuing my education, I was accepted into the University of Washington but had many troubles on choosing a major. Still having the desire to play soccer at a competitive level, I transferred to Central Washington University where I completed a Bachelors degree in Recreational Management.
I went onto the next level of soccer when I became a part of the Seattle Women Sounders. I know what it takes to be at the top level and how to get there starting from the very bottom.
I decided to carry on my education by enrolling in Pierce Community College Personal Training Program to gain more assets in becoming a personal trainer. Through their program I was able to become an ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine) certified personal trainer.
Q. Why do you enjoy personal training?
A. I enjoy personal training because it is a way to help people. It is the best feeling to see someone conquer their fitness goals and change their lifestyle for the better.
Q. What is your favorite vacation spot?
A. My favorite vacation spot would be any place HOT!
Q. What is your favorite movie?
A. I really like the movie clueless not sure why.
Q. What is most important to you?
A. Most important two things 1: my husband and 2: my dog.
Q. What is your favorite sport?
A. Soccer is My favorite sport and passion. Soccer is one of the reasons I got into personal training. I was never a fit player growing up but I learn how to get fit and this was a tool I wanted to use to help others with their fitness goals. (I played for the women sounders in my younger days).
Q. What inspires you?
A. What inspires me is any person who has hit rock bottom and can find the will to climb out of their deepest hole. I love to hear any stores like that.
Q. If you could do one thing, top of the bucket list, what would it be?
A. I would love to travel the world. I feel like I have not seen or witness enough beauty in the world.
