I am a 20-year veteran of the United States Army and spent another 15 years in the oil field. Through all that I have always been passionate about fitness. Now that I am no longer in that environment I have embarked on a new career doing what I love to do and that is working with people of all ages to achieve their fitness goals. I received a Personal Fitness Trainer certification from ISSA and have a Senior Fitness Specialty certificate from them as well.
My experience in training has shown me the need to tailor training sessions to the individual. We will take the goals you have set for yourself, discuss, and build a program specifically for you with your goals as our mission. I will dedicate my efforts to ensure you have the proper training to improve your fitness level.
Regardless of your age or physical fitness level, I am here to tell you that you are never too old or too out of shape to improve your health!

Why do you enjoy training being a Personal Trainer?
Fitness has always been a big part of my life and even more so the older I get. I want to be an example to anybody who thinks they are too old or too unhealthy to make a change. I like seeing the changes in people who have not exercised and are eager to improve their health.
What is your favorite vacation spot?
Several places - I loved Hawaii, but, I would rather go back to Europe, specifically Germany. I liked Florida during spring baseball season. I like anywhere in the hill country of Texas.
What is your favorite movie and why?
Field of Dreams…I’m a huge baseball fan (Yankees). I like the fantasy part of the movie…almost believe that could be heaven and heaven is in the cornfield.
What is the most important thing to you?
What is your favorite sport and why?
Baseball…a lot of reasons…there is a strategy to the game that people who don’t appreciate the game are missing. I played baseball college, (pitcher) and was pretty good.
What drives you to be the best at what you do?
I want people to look at me in a positive light. I want my family to be proud of what I do. I want to see the results of my hard work in my clients. I can’t get that without working hard for them.
If you could do anything, bucket list number one, what would that be?
Go back to Europe for a year as a civilian…I was there in the army but was working so much I didn’t get to enjoy the experience as much as I would have liked.
Why is physical fitness important to you?
The older I get the more important fitness is to me. I believe I can be healthier longer and can be an example for anybody, regardless of age, that if I can do it, they can do it.
What do you consider to be your greatest accomplishment?
Raising our sons to be great adults.
