I was asked to tell you how I describe myself, in one word it's ... MOTIVATED.
I'm not the best in the world, but I believe in being my best. I try my best to be educated and be an expert in everything that I do, so I spend a lot of time researching (aka "geeking out").
I'm a huge nerd, I'm inspired by childhood heroes like Luke Skywalker and Indiana Jones. In my teen years I actually played a lot of Dungeons & Dragons if you would believe it...!
My biggest goal is have as many adventures in real life as possible.

Why do you enjoy training (personal and/or performance)?
I enjoy training (parkour, strength training, etc) because I view movement as key to happiness and health. It's been proven that being good at movement is correlated with mental health! Longevity is a big factor for me, but also daily happiness!
Favorite vacation spot?
Too many to choose! Anywhere tropical, and also anywhere with a culture different to my own. I love a good adventure. So hiking, swimming, and traveling are all super important to me. I've lived in Seattle, Vancouver BC, Denver & Boulder Colorado, San Diego, Mumbai. I've visited Hawaii, Northern Alaska in a small tribe, Mexico City & Tijuana, Jaipur & Maclaoganj & Delhi in India, various places in the Caribbean, the UK, France, and more to come!
Favorite sport and why?
I think it goes without saying that it's parkour! Basically because... it's super badass. Getting able to do ninja stuff and do backflips is just really cool.
What drives you to be the best at what you do?
I'm driven to be the best I can possibly be. I definitely believe in shooting for the stars, because you never know how far you can get! I think it's best to make up the biggest goal you can that inspires you, and then take small manageable steps to get there. I'm obsessed with studying how inspiration and motivation are created. And basically... Each day's success is the motivation for the next day! The best mindset is one of gratitude, not one where you focus on what you "wish you could do, or be." Because if you're always focusing on what you wish you could do, you're always comparing yourself to your successes or failures- which is quite the emotional rollercoaster. Instead, I focus on gratitude and being proud of my accomplishments from yesterday to be motivation for each new day.
What inspires you?
I'm inspired by people who try their best. I don't really care about someone's skill or talent level, I'm inspired by someone who works hard to be better than they were before.
The first time I could do a standing backflip on hard ground. It actually took me 6 years to learn a backflip (4 years of wanting it but not having the courage to try, and 2 years of training my butt off when I decided "screw it, I'm going to try my best and see where it gets me")!
