Hello my name is Cat! At a young age my mother started me in a variety of sports ranging from dance to martial arts to basketball.
This introduced me to the love of an active lifestyle, a passion for life, and being an athlete.
As I continued to grow I went on to play collegiate soccer while earning a Bachelor’s from Eastern Washington University where I majored in Recreation Management.
After graduating, my love of fitness led me to pursue earning my Personal Training certificate through the American Council on Exercise (ACE). My most current passions are ½ Ironman’s, soccer, hiking, bodybuilding, and food prepping.
I love how personal trainers are able to motivate individuals to be the best versions of themselves they can be! My philosophy is no regrets, and to have no regrets you must pursue your passions ... always!
TAYLOR | Austin, TX
My name is Taylor. I am from a small town in Oklahoma called Sasakwa, but have recently moved to Austin for an Internship at UT.
I hold a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science and am currently pursuing in Sports Administration at East Central University in Oklahoma.
While at ECU, I played softball and was a part of our conference winning team. After hanging my cleats up, I became a Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning coach at ECU. I had the pleasure to personally run the softball, baseball, men’s and women’s cross country and soccer lifting and speed and agility programs.
I have a passion for sports and what it takes to make an athlete have that drive and passion for their sport. I want to make them love the process of becoming a better athlete and of course teach them to prevent injuries. My goal is to bring the energy and create a culture with the young athletes to carry on into their future careers.
In my free time I enjoy lifting and eating. When I am back in Oklahoma, I enjoy hunting and being in the woods.

SEAN | Portland, OR
I tend to view athletic performance, strength, and endurance through a philosophical lens. While training the physical nature of athletes is my specialty, I am greatly aware of the importance of the psychological component as well. I seek to create durable, strong, and adaptable athletes yet it is also my intent to provide a coaching service which provides the secondary benefit of mental resilience. The words of Jeff Sokol, Team Leader SFG, sum up the essence of my philosophy:
“I am not in the business of creating six packs and feeding egos... My purpose on this planet is to build a stronger, happier, and healthier human race.”
My application of sports performance training is based on scientific principles to improve strength, energy system development, motor skills, and promote injury resilience. Some may confuse methodology with principle, yet, methodology is a procedure of doing a thing while a principle is a guide – it is a reasoning system which governs the usage of various methods. Each sport requires performance training that is specific to the sport and I train accordingly (methods). However, I also am aware that all athletes, no matter what sport they prefer, must meet fundamental physical criteria (principles) before they can truly excel in specific training.
In regards to credentials, I possess a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in the same field. I am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), a Certified Weightlifting Performance Coach through the National Sports Performance Association (NSPA), and a StrongFirst Girya (SFG) Kettlebell Instructor.
