Greetings!  My name is Brigitte and I am certified through NASM to accompany you on the path to a happier healthy lifestyle.  A long journey of my own led me to live my dream of assisting others to make their dreams a reality.

I am a former EOD soldier of the US Army and mother of two.

I live life to the fullest and have been faced with many of the challenges that
could cause road blocks that would be easy reasons to put off health and fitness but I am here to walk with you and stay focused on the best investment - Yourself!

Q&A With Brigitte

Why do you enjoy training (personal and/or performance)?

My most passionate enjoyment in life is training. The measurable goals achieved by anyone not only builds a healthier physique but a strong happy mental state. When goals are achieved your state of mind changes in all things when one realizes the power to overcome anything, then anything is possible.

What is your Favorite vacation spot?
So far my favorite vacation spot is the Caribbean. I love the sun beyond words and the beach is a great place to enjoy that! There are usually so many activities to do as well that a combination of the sun and fun are everlasting.

What is your favorite movie?
My favorite movie depends on the mood I am in. I enjoy movies like I do music. Whatever fits the bill to escape is what I go for.

What is the most important thing to you?
The most important thing to be is a balanced happy life. There was a time I let work consume me and at some point I realized that I was merely surviving and not living. Time management, fitness, and living within your means is quality of life.

What is your favorite sport and why?
If the gym was a sport that would be my favorite. I love trying new things and adapting to new exercises all the time. I was a cheerleader and softball player in school.

What drives you to be the best at what you do?
I am driven by achievement and the ability to coach and teach others. Nothing excites me more than to see hurdles overcome by others and measurable goals attained. It is amazing at what one can do when the break the barrier of thinking they cannot.

What inspires you?
Inspiration comes from many things in my life. My daughter is largely a part of that. The ability to overcome is a true inspiration as I have had many hurdles to jump through. I have had two children, two ACL replacements, a pinned left elbow, divorce, and all the other obstacles that so many go through. Staying positive and accepting that life has so much to offer despite the hurdles keeps me driven.

If you could do anything, bucket list number one, what would that be?
Bucket list number one item is a month vacation to Australia!

Why is physical fitness important in your life?
Physical fitness is a staple in life because not only does it keep you young in a physical state but a mental state. The mind and body are meant to be exercised each day because if not it is a use or lose it situation. So many of today’s health and mental issues can be prevented by physical fitness.

What do you consider to be your greatest accomplishment?
This is always a hard question but to answer broadly I would have to say the greatest accomplishment is the learned ability to adapt and overcome. Life is what it is and we try and sometimes fail but we learn from it. Use our life lessons and apply them to keep bettering our future. You will never fail until you stop trying, in the words of Albert Einstein!
