Heather | Oregon
I became interested in personal training while working towards passing the Seattle Firefighter’s exam. After passing the physical exam, I decided that firefighting was not the best career for me, but it did spark my interest in the field of fitness and training. I have been involved with the fitness industry ever since, for over 7 years.
I became an NCSF certified personal trainer in March of 2009 so that I could share my knowledge of sports and strength training with others and help them achieve their fitness goals.
Since my certification, I have worked as a Trainer with the Seattle YMCA and have been able to work with a wide-spectrum of clients.
I am also an amateur boxer and Ultimate Frisbee coach for high school and middle school teams. When I am not training or coaching, I can be found road racing with my cycling team, chasing a Frisbee with my Ultimate team, or enjoying the quiet of a long backpack trip.
Arica | Washington
Hello, my name is Arica. Growing up I was an active child that participated in as many sports as my parents would allow. After my completion of high school I realized soccer was my true passion. I started my soccer career at Tacoma Community College where I also received my AA degree.
Continuing my education, I was accepted into the University of Washington but had many troubles on choosing a major. Still having the desire to play soccer at a competitive level, I transferred to Central Washington University where I completed a Bachelors degree in Recreational Management.
I went onto the next level of soccer when I became a part of the Seattle Women Sounders. I know what it takes to be at the top level and how to get there starting from the very bottom. I decided to carry on my education by enrolling in Pierce Community College Personal Training Program to gain more assets in becoming a personal trainer. Through their program I was able to become an ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine) certified personal trainer.
Sabrina | Washington
Hi, I'm Sabrina, certified personal trainer and certified running coach.
My passion is running, though it did change my life. I was a smoker for 10 years, and after I quit I decided to try running to attempt to fix the damage I had done. I could run ONE block. Then two. And so on. Awhile later I had a friend challenge me to run a half marathon. And I did. Once you start running and pass a point, and get what is called the 'runner's high', you never go back. That's when you are a runner.
I love sharing this gift with others, how to become a runner, ways to cross train and add all the other healthy fun stuff to keep you where you wanna be! And did you know, running is one of the top ways to lose weigh?! I am looking forward to helping many enjoy a healthy lifestyle through running and workouts that will keep you challenged and wanting to go further. Strength doesn't come from what you can do, it comes from overcoming the things you once thought you couldn't.
I have been working in the health care field for over 10 years. In high school I was a lifeguard and worked as a student athletic trainer for various sports teams. I first became a personal trainer in college in 2011 through ACE (American Council on Exercise).
In 2012 I graduated from Western Washington University with a Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology and continued to work as a private personal trainer. I interned and worked under both Physical Therapists and Athletic trainers throughout my college years and after.
I have a passion for helping people attain their fitness goals and truly enjoy watching them become healthier and happier in their daily lives.
Hello my name is Cat! At a young age my mother started me in a variety of sports ranging from dance to martial arts to basketball.
This introduced me to the love of an active lifestyle, a passion for life, and being an athlete.
As I continued to grow I went on to play collegiate soccer while earning a Bachelor’s from Eastern Washington University where I majored in Recreation Management.
After graduating, my love of fitness led me to pursue earning my Personal Training certificate through the American Council on Exercise (ACE). My most current passions are ½ Ironman’s, soccer, hiking, bodybuilding, and food prepping.
I love how personal trainers are able to motivate individuals to be the best versions of themselves they can be!
My philosophy is no regrets, and to have no regrets you must pursue your passions ... always!

I have worked in the fitness industry for over 21 years as a group exercise professional and over 10 years as an ACE certified personal trainer. I absolutely love my job!
As of now, I teach most formats of group exercise, including Zumba, weight training, yoga, step aerobics, kickboxing and outdoor bootcamps. I emphasize the need for overall wellness. I feel it is important to cross train and bring a variety of different exercises to achieve optimal fitness goals, this can include weight training, martial arts, dance, flexibility, balance, and of course nutrition. I love teaching “Yoga for all” and introducing others to the world of yoga in a non-intimidating way. Watching people become healthier, stronger, and more confident with their bodies, inspires me to do what I do - Plus it is so much fun!!!!
Being active has always been a lifestyle for me, I have played multiple sports through the years, including collegiate soccer, High School Volleyball, Basketball, Softball and Track. In the past my husband and I have enthusiastically cheered on our 3 children in all of their sports and activities.
My interest in the last 5 years, has been outdoor fitness, mostly hiking and trekking. I am involved in and have been working with humanitarian organizations both locally and internationally. I lead adventure tours to trek Mt Kilimanjaro every year with my non-profit organization - I am beyond excited to be able to share my passion for fitness with people locally and abroad. I am so fortunate and blessed to have great people around me at home, at the gym, and around the world.
Exercise--- Venture to live a happier, healthier, more balanced life.
Isabella | Washington | Yoga Instructor
I grew up in Texas and just recently moved to Washington after graduating with my bachelors degree in Psychology. I found Baptiste yoga 5 years ago and have had a daily practice since then. It lights me up to share my passion of yoga with each and every one around me.
Being a yoga student will always be in my life story but when I decided to get my teaching certification, I quickly learned that teaching yoga was a whole new practice in itself and being able to lead someone through this journey has given me a sense of fulfillment that I never want to let go of.
My yoga practice holds me accountable of how I'm showing up in my every day life- where I'm staying in my comfort zone and where I need to let go and just BE. This is what I hope to cultivate in my classes. A safe space to be raw and real with yourself. I'm dedicated to empower every yogi in my classes to be their most authentic self on and off their mats.

Sheridan | Texas
I’m Sheridan, and I’m from Houston, Texas.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Coastal Carolina and I’m currently working towards my Master’s in Social Work from Texas State University. When I’m not working I spend most of my time with my boyfriend and our fur babies (three dogs and a cat).
Fitness has always been apart of my life, I started playing soccer when I was four years old and I ran cross country and track in high school. Soccer was a passion of mine for so long, I played throughout high school and even in college. When I transferred schools, I quit playing soccer. For the first time in my life I didn't have someone telling me to exercise and stay in shape. As I began gaining weight in college I decided I needed to be my own “coach”. I started running everyday and learning how to work out at the gym.
When I moved back to Texas after graduating from college, I was an ABA therapist for kids diagnosed with ASD. After two years of doing ABA, I wanted to do and learn more so I began my certification through ISSA.
I have always had a passion for fitness and helping people, so training is a perfect match for me. Fitness and exercise isn’t just about staying in shape and looking good, it helps you out mentally and pushes you to reach a goal!
Shelby | Texas
Hi, I’m Shelby and I am so very excited to be sharing my passion for fitness!
I started my passion early, excelling in select track and basketball as a young woman. Fitness has always driven me to challenge myself in my day to day life.
I graduated from NPTI in Houston, where I learned the importance of proper form in strength training and its relationship to overall fitness. I find that my fitness allows me to enjoy my private time with my family that much more.
I will work with you to unlock the fitness beast within every motivated client!
Megan | Washington
My name is Megan, and my love for fitness has been something that was instilled in me at a young age. Growing up I was always involved in one sport or another, or outdoor physical activity. After graduating from high school, I joined the US Army and physical fitness was part of the job.
After my service was over I spent several years of on again off again devoted physical activity, until 7 years ago when I got back into it regularly with running and strength training.
In 2017, I decided to use my GI bill and go back to school for my AA in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Personal Training. I graduated in June of 2019 from ISSA with my AA and six separate certifications. Since then, I have started working as a group fitness instructor for the YMCA, and working as a personal trainer outside of the work I do there.
My training style is, mixing up many different forms of exercise, and building on skills and abilities. I personally enjoy HIIT style workouts and kickboxing, as well as running and hiking. I'm excited to meet new people and learn their stories and help them on their journeys to better health and fitness.

Hi! My name is Jeanette. I am an NASM certified personal trainer residing in the beautiful Portland area.
I work as a union welder building barges and train cars. The extreme physical labor in all the outdoor elements pushed me to hit the gym like I had never before done. I wanted to build strength to perform better at my job but while doing so I discovered a passion for fitness as well as a positive and welcoming community of people who I felt an immediate connection to. I was determined to make my enthusiasm and eagerness towards fitness a career.
I have many interests and hobbies including sports, music, the arts and video production. In high school I was a driven athlete competing in varsity level volleyball, basketball and track. I overcame a severe injury that left me in a wheelchair for high school graduation. I pursued a degree in film production with a biology minor at Chapman University in California where I wrote, produced, directed and did production/costume design for countless projects. Throughout my life I am always pushing myself towards new challenges and my commitment to living an active life has always been an outlet and a safe space for me to focus on myself and reset.
I wholeheartedly want everyone to feel comfortable and excited as they work towards their goals- whether they are completely new to fitness, an athlete, recovering from injury, or on a weight loss journey- I want to support and build individuals up so that they can pursue their own passions and live life to the utmost fullest. I always look for new and creative ways to lead an active lifestyle, whether it be hula hooping in the park, roller skating around the block, or a round of disc golf. My absolute favorite pastime is hiking the multitude of trails throughout the Northwest with my Australian shepherd dog.
I am so happy I reached out to For U Fitness and Jeanette for personal training. Jeanette took the time to assess my fitness needs based on my health, current fitness level, and available time. Together, we worked out a running program that I can manage on my own, and every time we get together, she always challenges me just a little bit more. Jeanette is always prompt and enthusiastic. I love starting my week off working out with Jeanette! Shannon L.
Sara | Washington
Hi, my name is Sara, I'm excited to work with you and hear about your fitness goals! My passion for fitness started at a very young age. Growing up with an adventurous family kept us all active together while building memories by hiking, camping, exploring new cities and camp sites all around the beautifully vast PNW. I started hiking solo as a young adult and that evolved into a passion for running local trails, to eventually a daily routine. Once my routine became too comfortable and my results became stagnant I knew I would have to step it up a notch but wasn't sure how to start that journey.
I entertained joining a gym, but didn't know which to choose from, and was very intimidated by gyms. So, I didn't follow through and tried boot camps, paddle boarding and swimming during my 6 year residence in Austin, Tx. My first ever gym membership was at 24 hour fitness over a decade ago and was a birthday gift which included sessions with a personal trainer. From there my interest grew into even more of a passion and then evolved into a lifestyle that I am still passionate about.
I became a trainer to share my enthusiasm for health and fitness with others and to get them excited about obtaining their fitness goals by assisting them in creating a healthy lifestyle.

Interests/About Me: Mother of 2 rambunctious boys! (5 and 1.5) Take me to the Beach! I have dreams of traveling to sunny places.
Let me start off by saying that I am pretty lazy even though I'm a single, working mom of 2 kids in school. I look for excuses not to work out so I thought it was time for a change. I found Sara back in the beginning of July and see her twice a week. I love how she makes it convenient for me by coming to my area and working out at the park next to my house. If the weather is bad, we can always workout in my garage or via Zoom on the computer. She keeps our workouts tailored to what I want to focus on. Sara makes a variety of workout plans and sometimes leaves it up to me what I want to focus on that day. On my birthday, she made the workout more interesting by bringing workout dice which was a good time! I definitely feel stronger and can already see results! Sara is very flexible and fun to work with! - Ligaya
I love this service! Who knew that personal training could be so fun, done at your home, and with a trainer who makes the time fly by, is fun, reliable, and AMAZING!! Now I know. Since COVID, I am not going to the gym, and I thought this would be a temporary solution; however, I am already seeing such results AND, because someone is coming to you, you actually do it! I used to do Orange Theory and cancel and I didn't care as it was $15 to cancel and worth it to sleep in, but when you know someone is coming, you don't cancel. Plus, it's actually fun. I look forward to my workouts with Sara. Highly, highly recommend! - Violet
I was already working out prior to connecting with Sara, but now I’m seeing much better results than going it alone. Sara’s methods work. I am stronger and more flexible, and every day I see the progress I’ve made as a result of her training. She is a great motivator — she recognizes my limits but also pushes when necessary. Sara’s workouts are fun and she mixes it up — four months in and every time it’s something different. I know Sara is going to help me reach my goals and I highly recommend her to anyone wanting to make positive changes to their health and fitness. - Cyndi
