Hi! My name is Tara, I am from Cedarburg, Wisconsin (yes I like cheese!), but I also love softball!  I am honored to have the opportunity to not only coach, but mentor female athletes about aspects of life both on and off the field. I know from past experiences both personally and professionally, how crucial and pivotal a positive female role model can be in a young female athlete's life.

Hi! My name is Jeanette. I am an NASM certified personal trainer residing in the beautiful Portland area.

I work as a union welder building barges and train cars. The extreme physical labor in all the outdoor elements pushed me to hit the gym like I had never before done. I wanted to build strength to perform better at my job but while doing so I discovered a passion for fitness as well as a positive and welcoming community of people who I felt an immediate connection to. I was determined to make my enthusiasm and eagerness towards fitness a career.

I am a certified trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and am currently working towards a bachelor’s degree in nutrition. Growing up in a health forward household, my curiosity and passion for fitness and health began at a young age. I’ve learned to look at fitness as a form of the amazing things our bodies are capable of doing when trained correctly!

I hold myself to a high standard of customer service and will help keep you accountable on your fitness journey so that you reach your goals.

Hi, my name is Sara, I'm excited to work with you and hear about your fitness goals! My passion for fitness started at a very young age. Growing up with an adventurous family kept us all active together while building memories by hiking, camping, exploring new cities and camp sites all around the beautifully vast PNW.  I started hiking solo as a young adult and that evolved into a passion for running local trails, to eventually a daily routine. Once my routine became too comfortable and my results became stagnant I knew I would have to step it up a notch but wasn't sure how to start that journey.

I entertained joining a gym, but didn't know which to choose from, and was very intimidated by gyms. So, I didn't follow through and tried boot camps, paddle boarding and swimming during my 6 year residence in Austin, Tx. My first ever gym membership was at 24 hour fitness over a decade ago and was a birthday gift which included sessions with a personal trainer. From there my interest grew into even more of a passion and then evolved into a lifestyle that I am still passionate about.

I became a trainer to share my enthusiasm for health and fitness with others and to get them excited about obtaining their fitness goals by assisting them in creating a healthy lifestyle.

My names Katie, I was born and raised in Dallas Texas. My favorite hobbies are working out and spending time with my dog!

Since I was little fitness and nutrition were a big part of my life. Throughout my childhood I spent many years playing Soccer, Softball, and Volleyball. As a pre-teen I earned state records for my weight class in Powerlifting.

After graduating high-school I joined the Health Coach Institute, where I earned my Health Coaching Certification and my Life Coaching certification.

I love training because I believe physical activity makes you the best version of yourself by clearing your mind of negativity and building confidence and helping someone build there confidence is the best feeling!

Welcome Brianna! | For U Fitness

Hello there, my name is Brianna. I am 24 years old, and I am a NASM certified personal trainer. My passion is to help others achieve their fitness goals.

The Past: Growing up, I was not taught the importance of being physically active nor of healthy eating habits. What was, ‘working out’? My family’s philosophy on food: The more you eat the healthier you are. I remember seeing things like Fitness magazine and though that lifestyle intrigued me as a child, I thought it must not be realistic to stick to, nor important. Most adults I knew would make jokes about paying for a gym membership that served as nothing more than another tag to their keychain. In elementary school, I disliked P.E. I was not naturally coordinated, so making team sports in middle school were a no go. By HS, I struggled to find something that would count toward my required P.E. credit! By college, I became sedentary and my metabolism did not keep up with my poor lifestyle habits. With my body changing, I started to compare myself more and more to my healthier counterparts. I would attempt be active, especially while taking kinesiology courses. I began with the treadmill. It was nice. I couldn't shoot a hoop or hit a ball over a net to save my life, but at least I could run. It felt good. Yet, I would always start, lose a few pounds, then stop, start, stop again, but nothing would ever stick. It wasn't until I had a summer job that required me to be active and realized, “I have no energy”. No desire to move. Why did my brain feel foggy, and why was I sluggish all the time?

Say Hello To Heather | For U Fitness Personal Trainer

1/28/2020

Picture
My name is Heather and I am originally from San Diego, CA. My mom and I moved to Olympia in 2014 and have been loving the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

I have been an exercise enthusiast since high school, and have always had a desire to help others. The personal trainers and fitness instructors I have worked with over the years inspired me to seek a career in fitness. My dream became a reality when I earned my Personal Trainer Certification through ISSA in October 2019.

I have a love for a variety of fitness techniques, from yoga and stretching to high intensity jump training. Regardless of the method, my primary focus is always total health and wellness, including mental and physical. I have found that regular activity can be life-changing for overall happiness and energy, and I want to bring that to as many people as I can.

Rather than being consumed by numbers and figures, I invite ideas of balance and sustainability when it comes nutrition and exercise that supports a healthy lifestyle. I know the struggles in achieving a desired level of health and fitness, and I want to be part of the support network that helps others overcome these struggles. Anything is possible with the right help!
