Welcome Cat! | For U Fitness

My name is Cat and I live for cooking delicious healthy meals and helping others find their best self.

I have worked in sales and marketing for years, but my real passion lies in the health field.

I am in school to become a certified Health Coach and will be pursuing health full-time soon! I enjoy any sort of physical activity; whether it be hiking, rock climbing, yoga, or weight lifting.

I love my workouts to be challenging, powerful, and fun. Same for my clients!

I am excited to help many more people find their best self through guidance, hard work, and new experiences!

Q&A With Cat
Why do you enjoy personal training?

I love testing limits and seeing results. For myself, there is no better feeling than doing better than you did the day before, and I want clients to feel the same. It is super rewarding when you can take a look at all the sweat you put into something and finally accomplish it. It is on you and only you and I love that aspect of training.

What is your favorite vacation spot?

I have a huge soft spot for Key West. My family has a house there and we spend hours on the boat fishing and enjoying each others company.

What is your favorite movie and why?

My favorite movie is between The Departed and Blow. Obvious reasons, Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Whalberg, and Johnny Depp, but also they are very well written movies that never get old.

What is the most important thing to you?

My overall well-being. I am a firm believer in living your best life and if something in your life is stopping you from doing just that something needs to change.

What is your favorite sport and why?

I was a competitive cheerleader for 11 years and really enjoyed the dancing and tumbling aspect of it. That being said, I love watching football and basketball. I grew up watching a lot of football with family and friends and I love the athleticism with basketball.

What drives you to be the best at what you do?

The feeling you get when you helped someone is what makes not only what I do great, but what I think makes life great. When you are helping someone else better themselves in a way they could not completely do on their own how could that not be an amazing feeling?

What inspires you?

I say I am inspired by different people everyday. It might be someone asking me more than "How you doing today?" at the grocery store or meeting a someone through a friend who is passionate about what they do and have built a business from the ground up.

If you could do anything, bucket list number one, what would that be?

If I could do anything it would be to live in Bali for a year. I absolutely love the culture, the scenery, and just the overall way of life there.

What is the importance of physical fitness in your life?

I think physical activity plays a huge roll in my life. I work behind a desk all day, so when I go to the gym/yoga class/hike it is truly therapeutic and relaxes my mind after a long day of work.

What do you consider to be your greatest accomplishment
thus far?

My greatest accomplishment is probably finally deciding to enroll in school to become a health coach. It is a new career path with not a lot of safety nets, which is a scary thing. So finally taking that plunge to do something that I know I will love despite others not taking it seriously as a career move was a huge thing for me.
